<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri;"> The Finnish Educational
System (FES) is one of the best educative structures in the world, according to
the results which have been obtained from PISA report. On of the most important
points which makes that Finnish Educational System is so extraordinary is the
great basic formation which it provides to children. Next, we are going to see
what this educational organization is about and how it is being compared to the
Spanish Educational System.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

System pay a lot of attention to languages and, therefore, English or Swedish
is the second required language in classes.
Here, in Spain, children learn English or French as the second language,
but it only focuses on grammar and vocabulary, oral language development is
among absent.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 36.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list 36.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt;">

pre-primary education. Here in Spain bilingual education is not compulsory and
it does not start until primary or secondary education.</span></div>

second teacher who tries to adapt the teaching and learning process to those
children who have necessities in order to prevent the school failure. In Spain
a second teacher is only demanded when the situation becomes extremely serious.

the job of teacher is well-recognized in this country. In Spain, teaching
degree is four years long, students do not have to get a great mark to enter,
in fact, it is one of the lowest, the government does not give any economical
help and, in addition, people conceive teachers as people with a easy life,
with a lot of free time and too many holidays. </span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Hello,
this is Juan and here I am writing a new post. First of all, I have to say El
Pensamiento Ajeno blog is a little bit old because these weeks I have been
member of another group so this is the main reason because of I could not make
an analysis about my weekly work group because as you know our group is only
constituted by two members and, in fact, the other member was missing so I
though making an analysis about myself would be a stupid task since the purpose
of the analysis is taking stock of how the group has worked. Anyway, I felt I
had the necessity of making reference about Snakes and Ladders on Pensamiento
Ajeno blog and, after knowing that this task must be included in the portfolio
I will try to explain the whole activity as well as can expected.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><u><b><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri;">Snakes and
Ladders</span></b></u></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">Snakes and
Ladders is a “trivial game” whose questions and answers are based on the
Organization of the Spanish Educational System from the European Educative
document. Questions are divided in seven topics which are always related to the
educational area: </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">1. Laws and Structure.</span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><br />
</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">2. Management (person and groups of management and government)</span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><br />
</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">3. School time and grouping.</span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><br />
</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">4. General indications about teaching methods.</span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><br />
</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">5. Assessment and certification.</span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><br />
</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">6. Differences between public and private centers.</span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><br />
</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">7. Financing issues.</span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><br />
8. Other structures and variations.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">Each one
of these topics includes eight questions which were made by SOyER groups. At
the beginning, every group would make three questions for each topic and then,
all questions from all groups would be joined by topic and, taking into account
grammar, quality of question and its elaboration, SOyER groups would choose the
best eight questions for each topic. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">To make
the questions, Hakuna Matateros and I decided to adopt the next methodology:
each member of the group would make one question per topic and, as a result, we
would obtain six questions for each topic (we were six people). After making
this task, we would put in common our questions and we would choose the best
three questions for each topic. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">This was
the <a href="http://hakunamatateros.blogspot.com.es/2012/04/game-questions.html" target="_blank">list of questions</a> about Laws and Institutions which we reviewed.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">Being
honest, I think that I am not wrong when I say our cards suck aesthetically,
they were written with pens and there was no more colour than the blue colour
from the pen. In fact, handwriting was not the same in all cards and there were
significant differences between them. On the other hand, in relation to the
content which was inside the cards I think it was not bad at all, that is, I
think was pretty correct and we paid especially attention to grammar and
spelling because, in this point, there were quite cards from other groups which
we had to discard since you had to make some “juggling” in order to understand
what the question wanted to ask.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><u><b><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri;">The Game</span></b></u></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">Friday 27
of April was the date when Snakes and Ladders started. The game was really
exciting, you could smell competitiveness in the air, all groups wanted to win
the “Key to The Paradise”. Due to the winner’s absence the game was extended to
three days and, at the beginning, the first day, Hakuna Matateros was in first
place. I think we were a strong group, maybe there were some questions which
could be answered but, anyway, we had a great control about topics, questions
and, especially, chance. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">Despite we
were in first position, next days the game turned into a maze and, after being
in first place the second day we finished in third position and we were tied
with the fourth one. Our spirit was rock bottom; we thought we did not have any
possibility and Snakes and Ladders would only be an illusion for us. However,
the last day of the game it happened what we would never think it was going to
happen; after finishing in third place the day before, groups which are in
advantaged positions began to go back since “snakes were playing pranks”. We
took advantage of the situation and we trusted our destination to chance. When
it seemed we were really near to the prize Never Too Late group won the first
prize since the number eleven helped them to get to the final square. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">Although
the first prize was already awarded, the tension increased a lot because only
the second prize was left and the rest of groups wanted to get it. Fortunately,
the time was very near of 10 o’clock so we carried on playing in a normal way,
but watching the watch every time because, after some troubles, Hakuna
Matateros was the nearest group to the final square and we were looking forward
to win. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">It was my
round, I had to sit down with the rest of members from the other groups, I watched
the watch more and more because I only wanted to kill the time and finishing
with this stressful game. It was my turn, I stood up and I was waiting for
hearing the question when Jesús, a member of Hakuna Matateros, said: Linda, its
10 o’clock! It’s time! And Linda proved with her Iphone that it was true. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">Consequently,
Hakuna Matateros and I won the second prize, that is, an eight in one of the
two questions which Linda will ask to us in the oral exam. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<u><b><span style="font-size: large;"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri;">My own
thoughts</span></span></b></u></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">I think
working with another group as Hakuna Matateros has been a grateful experience
because you are aware of how a numeric group develops its normal activities. All
people try to do one’s bit and this is a point which I consider very important
when you are working in a cooperative way. Furthermore, I have to say Hakuna
Matateros members are like my family, I am almost alone in Broken Dreams but in
HM group I have been like at home, I had a great welcome and all members have
respected my opinion and they have also taken into account my considerations.
All I have to say is thank you very much for having this amazing time with you,
I am fond of you girls and guys, you rock!</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">On the
other hand, in relation to Snakes and Ladders, I think this game contains a
highly pedagogical point, that is, the extrapolation of Spanish Educative
System Framework to a Trivial Game and, in fact, I believe we have not been
aware of the task but making this activity, the contest and prizes have
encouraged us to learn knowledge in a significant way and I am pretty sure that
it will be so difficult to forget the content which I have learnt thanks to
this game. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">Despite I
have said I was not going to make the analysis about myself I would like to
make this “quick report” taking into account the time which I have spent with my
friends from Hakuna Matateros.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 13.6pt;">
<b><span lang="EN-GB" style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">What was the best part of the activity?</span></b><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">
</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 13.6pt;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">The best
part of the activity was, without any doubt, the cooperative way in which we
had to work the get the prize, the feeling of cohesion and unity was more than

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Hi, this is Juan and
here I am editing our post about The Dark Side of Textbooks. I have to say I
was not satisfied with our commercials’ presentation so this is the reason
because of I decided to make an original and well-made blog entry. First of
all, as you can see, all our spots begin with the same words; <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Learn to distrust textbooks, Learn to not
memorize word by word, Learn to know all textbooks do not transmit knowledge in
the same way, </i>and finally, we have added another advert whose title is <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Learn to use textbooks as a complementary
material</i>. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Consequently, these
four spots constitute a commercial package which we have named <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">“Learn to…”</i> and it is about The Dark
Side of Textbooks. As you can observe, each video displays the same structure; firs;
title, then; plot with video and finally; moral and summary. Adverts are a
little bit inspired in DGT and Spain’s government commercials because I think
the way which these spots use to transmit information is highly clear and
direct. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

enjoy it! </span></span></div>

just finished editing our videos about not using books in classes but there is
a little bit problem, my internet speed is so low and sign is very poor and
therefore it cannot upload videos to YouTube right now. Tomorrow I will upload
our adverts when I was at the university because Faculty’s internet works very
well. Meanwhile, you can listen to the theme I have composed exclusively to
this adverts, it is only played by piano and orchestra, it is quite simple but I
have not any free time to make better things. I knew I could choose Creative
Commons music but all music I listened to it did not fit with which I wanted so
I decided to compose it. </span></span></div>

<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">The 5<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span> of March SOyER group had an unusual guest in its
classroom. He was the great teacher Manel Rives who came to the University of
Murcia, concretely the Faculty of Education, in order to make a workshop with
us. But, before explaining Manel’s method and all tasks we had the opportunity
to carry out we should introduce who Manel Rives is. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Having a look at Manel’s twitter we have a short description about
Manel’s job. </span></span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ierXdVrp3os/T2-HciS9xxI/AAAAAAAAAEI/lO9HvGNkae4/s1600/manel.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="100" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ierXdVrp3os/T2-HciS9xxI/AAAAAAAAAEI/lO9HvGNkae4/s400/manel.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">He is a teacher who incorporates new technologies to educative
area. First of all, we use to think if new technologies improve children’s
knowledge; in reference to this point, according to Manel’s words: </span></span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><em>“It is only another way to make things, I
have found new technologies a better method to lead my pupils’ work but other
teachers will think I am a bit crazy making projects with technology and not
with books, it only depends on the manner you want to impart your lecture.”</em><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">And it is true, Manel’s children are not guided by a text book, this
kind of classes conceive text books as an alternative choice which it is only
used to look for information and comparing different sources. Manel’s
methodology is based in Learning by projects and it is in these tasks where
technology is incorporated. When we think about this type of teaching we use to
consider projects as boring assignments which are not completely read by
ourselves and they are just made</span><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"> for the sake
of submitting one. However, with Manel things seem to be quite different;
children are motivated every time and they pay a lot of attention to their work
putting all effort which is possible. In regard to this point, why are Manel’s
children so encouraged? And, on the contrary, why are children with common
learning methodologies less stimulated? We could say one of the main factors is
technology. Technology is the most powerful instrument of the world but, at the
same time, it is one of the easiest elements to control (basic control, not
professional or expert on controlling) and, in fact, give a computer game to a
child, wait for some days and then let me know if he or she has just finished
the whole game without necessity to read instructions, I am pretty sure he or
she will have completed all the game. Consequently, if we extrapolate this
revolutionary behavior to the rest of technological device we could have an
idea about how children manage technology and they have a sixth sense to run

make them possible: IPad. I think IPad does not need any presentation when tons
of people have ever used one or even they used it daily to work with. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

could obtain a powerful relationship thanks to which Manel may have found the
key to enter in a new teaching concept which, moreover, is partly based in TPCK
foundations since besides of using Technology it mixes Content and Pedagogy.</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: ES;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">This way to impart lectures
gets other elements which normal lectures cannot get with the same quality,
that is, we are dealing with elements as motivation, initiative, interest,
enthusiasm, inspiration, creativity, stimulus…lot of feelings which may produce
significant learning since, memorizing a paragraph can be done with or without
a good teacher but, making that paragraph as a part of our knowledge is more
difficult and in this point good teachers, methodology and good environment
take an important role. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: ES;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">On the other hand, in
reference to workshop which Manel made I have to admit I did not have any idea
about what presentation was going to be about…yes, I knew dinosaurs were going
to be one of the morning main characters and, the day before, Linda also told
us he used to work with Stop motion and other tools so I have to say I knew
something about him, but not too much and due to this reason the whole four hours
passed very fast. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: ES;">Unfortunately there was not a
lot of time and therefore, we had to make activities quickly and if it is the
first time you use an IPad I beat the task may be so long because we are not
used to type on big touch screens and in addition, we are not also familiarized
with those software programs so, first of all it was discovering how to start
controlling the tool. However, we got interested in using IPad and its programs
and we could prove how tasks which are made by pencil and paper may result very
boring and, on the contrary, utilizing technological devices make more
interesting jobs and, in fact, if we sat open-mouthed the whole class, </span><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">how could children not be motivated
to make activities all the time?</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: ES;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">We could be talking about
Manel for long hours but if we wanted summarize that morning in one sentence I think
it could be something like:</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: center;">

contexts, Manel, you are THE MAN of resourceful teaching concept and new technologies;
I like your way to impart lectures but I am not sure of saying: I want to be
with you in the future, I am in the first grade of my degree, I want to know other
teachers and methodology before consider what it is the best for me but, right
now, I beat you are one of my choices for being as you in the far future. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

actualizing the whole blog so please do not be stunned if you see old posts

thank you very much for spending your time watching it. </span></span></span></div>

quality improves a little, but no so much.</span></div>

taken with an old camera so this is the reason because of there are some blurred
images and interruptions when characters carry out their movements. On the
other hand, due to there is no conversation throughout the video we decided to
make a kind of <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">“film-style”</i> and,
consequently, as we can see at the beginning, after the titles and the presentation,
we have put a <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">member cast</i> in which dinosaurs' main features are explained since we do not have to forget the
video must include educative contents. </span></div>

<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hi, Juan here from Broken Dreams and this week
I have been the journalist of my group. First of all, I have to say this week
have been so quiet compared to TPCK week. Monday 20 was about an explanation
about Curriculum implementation and, in this point, I have to admit that I
thought Linda would entrust some task which would be due by Friday 24. However,
the big “surprise” would come true on Friday when Linda named the Pechakucha
word. Therefore, we could say that the real weekly work about the subject
started on Friday because of the assigned job. However, it seems that people
from my group do not worry about carrying out tasks and (I am always who has to
be remembering works we have to make and wondering about correcting English
from all members, trying to make the best as possible…) I decided not to say
nothing about the work because I was hoping someone would say something like:
Hey, when are we going to meet in order to start the task? But it was
incredible, weekend ended and neither of them said nothing or sent a message
about The Beatles Pechakucha. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I was a bit tired of being “behind people”
saying what we are going to make every week and, consequently, I started to
make Pechakucha in my own way. Next week I was not the star but I had very
clear that if nobody helped me to make the task I would not have any problem
presenting the exposition. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">To conclude, as I have said, this week I have
been the journalist of my group and I have no qualms about saying that week from
Monday 20 to Sunday 26 was absolutely holidays for the most part of group’s
members. I like to be truthful and sorry but I had to express some of my
thoughts, despite I have not been analyst this week I was a bit exhausted of
this behaviour and I think this is not the correct way if we want to give of
our best. I hope members of Broken Dreams will be aware of the situation
because this is not a game, we are not in primary school and I really dislike
when you try to make the best as possible in order to improve the group’s level
and you do not receive the same feedback from the rest of members. As far I am
concerned, it is true that I am not perfect, in fact, I admit I have a lot of
mistakes every day, I do not want to say with this words that I am the best of
group or something like that, I only want to say that, sometimes, I feel I am
the only one who wonders about activities and several times, I have finished
making tasks in my own way for the rest of the group because I feel I cannot completely
trust in my work partners’ labour. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I want to think this is only a spell of bad
luck and as soon as possible we will be a cooperative where we will be together
<i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">in the same boat</i> and we will take
into account that university is not only a continued party where we go in order
to spend our time.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hi, Juan again from Broken Dreams and this week
I have been the analyst of my group. Next I am going to reply questions’
analyst but before I want to make an introduction about how the week was. First
of all, I will name this week as Pechakucha’s week. Pechakucha’s week has been
a bit weird. I carried out making the presentation’s draft and finally the rest
of members decided to start worrying about the task. However, there was a point
which amazed me a lot and it was that two members of the group began making
Pechakucha’s labour without saying anything to the rest of people because they
wanted to surprise us. What was the result? They spent their time making the
same part of the topic which I had said it would be made by me. Consequently,
this lack of communication would cause more delay to our project. Pechakucha’s
week went by and definitively it seemed that all people knew about the task and
the shared work. As a result of this late organization work was finished on
Thursday morning and it only lacked to make a good design which would be
created by me and it would take me all-night in order to get an attractive
presentation. At the end, I finished the design so late but it was obvious, the
day before I was still waiting for the assigned task from each group’s member
and, consequently, I had only one afternoon to make design, to correct the
whole work, to revise English… but this is not important to me, what it really
amazes me it is the fact I cannot understand why stars did not defend our
presentation in a correct way. Task (except design) was already made with 24
hours in advance, I absolutely accept that it would be great to have more time
but I think ten slides can be studied and learned in one day and even more if
you cannot spend more than twenty seconds in each slide; why cannot you prepare
a 3’20’’long’s presentation in one day? You only had to say two coherent
phrases per slide. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As I have said in other moments, I am not
perfect; I have a lot of mistakes every day, I am aware of my English is not
enough good and I recognize I am person who is so far from perfection in all
senses but when I involve in an activity I like to make it the best as possible
and I try to give it <span style="mso-bidi-font-style: italic; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">all</span><span style="mso-bidi-font-style: italic;"> one has got in
order to get suitable results. Even I said: “Please, study slides, the
presentation is so cool but without good oral exposition it will be very poor”.
I do not if nerves were responsible for the performance, if it was lack of
study about the topic but from bottom view a little failure was what partners
and I contemplated. </span></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I hope that it is
only a temporary oversight and we will get our daily labour back because this
is not correct work way if we want to obtain good results collectively. Despite
my of view from the group and week I think is enough clear I will be so brief
answering questions because we should remember this is not a colombian novel but a blog’s
post ;)</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><em>What was the best part of the activity?<o:p></o:p></em></span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I think the best part of the activity was the
opportunity of extrapolating The Beatles and The Beatlemania to two main
perspectives: TPCK and Curriculum Implementation. In this way, we do not only
learn theoretical concepts but we study how they are put into practice thanks
to the topics application, in the case that we are dealing with, The Beatles
and The Beatlemania. In addition, we have learnt that teaching children may be
more than reading or listening Beatles’ songs; some software tools as Wix,
Blogger and Voki allow us to transmit knowledge to children in a different and
also interactive way. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><em>What was the worse?<o:p></o:p></em></span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">We could say the worse part of the activity is
the beginning because it is the point where you do not know how to raise the
matter and, in the current case, how to join The Beatles to TPCK and Curriculum
Implementation’s perspectives. I have to admit it is not easy to make directly
the presentation, before you have to summarize your ideas and being aware of
your limit, in the case in question, temporary and numerical limit; 6’ 40’’ and
20 slides per presentation. Therefore, if I had to choose the worse part of the
activity I think difficulties of Pechakucha’s work are the main drawback
because every moment we do not have to forget we are playing with conditions
which will determine a specific kind of presentation so different compared to
presentations without any maximum time and space. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><em>What was the best moment of the week (in the
work of the group)? And what was the worse?</em> <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Obviously, the best moment of the week was on
Thursday when we finished Pechakucha task. However, I could refer to the
elaboration process as another of the best week’s moments because it includes challenging
steps as creating slides, what information we include, designing presentation…
these are some of stages which I personally like and I describe as these ones
which take part of the best week’s moments.</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">On the other hand, the worse moment of the week
was, with any doubt, first days after Linda entrusted us Pechakucha task
because, as I have explained, people were not worried about work, I was sick of
remember our homework to them so I decided to start the activity in my own
since, as I supposed and finally I noticed, nobody told nothing about the
assignment during the weekend. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><em>What have you learnt?</em> <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I do not know what my work partners have learnt
but I am pretty sure I have learnt a lot new concepts, experiences and new TPCK
and C.I. perspective from this activity. First of all, I say I have learnt a
lot of concepts because before Pechakucha task I had a look at TPCK and Curriculum
Implementation notes and yes, I understood them but I had no example about the
most part of concepts so this activity have helped to illustrate these notions
thanks to the topic’s application (The Beatles in the present case). Next, I
have said I have learnt a lot of experiences; again, yes, experiences as being
aware of the work, being responsible, being behind people in order to make
presentation and exposition and then, lot of experiences related to the work,
in example, at the beginning I did not know what Wix was and, therefore, I had
no idea about how using that difficult tool but after getting in touch with the
software program I have discovered a new device which it seems to be so easy to
use and, as a result of its interactivity, children will be able to learn due
to new ways. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><em>What do you need to conserve -as a group- for
the next weeks?<o:p></o:p></em></span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">In my opinion Broken Dreams have to change its
way of thinking. We should not behave as procrastinators, we must be aware
these tasks will be assessed and, therefore, we must not leave our fate to the
chance. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><em>What do you need to improve –as a group- for
the next weeks?</em></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">First of all, we need organization. We will not
get any purpose without established patterns. Next, we will need responsibility
and initiative, each member of the group should try to contribute ideas and
being aware the group’s system; </span><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">cooperativity, collaboration and interdependence among us. Finally, grouped
member’s connection appears as an important point since a lack of communication
among partners may propitiate cooperative and collaborated work without any
sense. </span></span></div>

<br />
We have a problem because Adriana and Paloma have left the degree and Juan and me (Cristina) haven't got any idea that we can do.<br />
So, this Friday we will going to speak about this with you. We are alone, it's a problem.<br />
<br />
See you, CristinaCristinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03245138480077749868noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-519912100054386344.post-84292721941608876672012-03-05T21:12:00.001+01:002012-03-05T21:15:54.724+01:00HOW HAVE WE WORKED THIS WEEK?<span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 16px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); ">This week we have had two beginners: Cristina and Paloma. I think that it isn't difficult because my group worked together and when we coldn't finish our work, we did it in our houses.<br />
<br />
In my opinion, I hadn't had a lot of problems to divide "homework". All people worked and finished their work in time. Then I hadn't get some idea what I must do, but I tryed to watch my partners and I helped them when they couldn't do something.<br />
<br />
Juan was "Star", I think that he did it gorgeuos, he and me sent e-mails with work and we completed our labor. He is excellent with laptop and he gave way to work, I liked it.<br />
<br />
Adriana was "Analyst" she worked well, she went to all classes and she tryed to understand English and to do our labor.<br />
<br />
Paloma was "Journalist" she worked well, but she didn't know how she must to do a summary, but she tryed to do it.<br />
<br />
I think that last week our presentation was very good, Juan did his labor so good and me and my other partners did our parts well. I have a good feeling with the group. But we must work hardly.<br />
<br />
I like working as facilitator because I love having everithing under control. We did a very goog labor.<br />
<br />
I have searched what a lider must to do and I saw it.<br />
<br /><div style="text-align: left;">
A good lider must know:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
It is in Spanish, I'm sorry, but it says that a lider must know:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<ol>
<li>Know what she/he wants.</li>
<li>Be a team player.</li>
<li>Not be afraid of the risk.</li>
<li>Be loyal and honest.</li>
<li>Like new challenges.</li>
<li>Know his/her weakness.</li>
<li>Know his/her qualities.</li>
</ol>
<div style="text-align: right;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: right;">
See you next week,</div>

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-AkhiixnnwEw/T0KBPKSnUzI/AAAAAAAAAC0/9V2Tm2hEq0k/s1600/time-for-the-presentation.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-AkhiixnnwEw/T0KBPKSnUzI/AAAAAAAAAC0/9V2Tm2hEq0k/s320/time-for-the-presentation.gif" width="259" yda="true" /></a></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">Being a star is not an easy job and as I noticed the star’s labour may be more difficult than I expected. The main matter of this week has been the TPCK Speed Dating so my principal aim was the preparation of a well-made presentation. In reference to this point, being the presenter has some commitments: first of all, you HAVE to know about you are trying to explain, therefore, you </span><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">don't have any <span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">other<b> </b></span>choice but to read several times the text and doing some rehearsals in order to get self-confidence and some basic knowledge. In fact, the more preparation you spend in your explanation, the more confident and clear will be your speech.</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>There is another regard which results so interesting and it is the nerves avoidance; we can talk about the whole text but, however, nerves impede us to make a good presentation, that’s a pity! Consequently, nerves controlling will be another of the main star’s obligations. In reference to nerves… what happen when we are so nervous and we have no words to describe our explanation? One of the main results from this situation is the lack of attention. In this way, the star of the group has not only to prepare his exposition, speed dating in the case which we are dealing with, and trying to remove her nerves but she also has to grab the audience’s attention. Thus, the star has to create a bidirectional explanation and also making some gestures because we should remember that the talk-show moderator is also a person who has feelings and movements and he is entitled to show them in regard to what he is explaining.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Once I have written about what the star work is, I am going to make my personal opinion after having occupied this job during this week. First, I have to say that I like to be the group’s star, I like to improvise all contents and, although I have a subject’s mental scheme I finish improvising all the things which I say. On one hand, I have to say that five minutes are not enough time in order to make a good presentation as I wanted to make and, indeed, you have no time to make questions, to ask to the audience or to create a good attention relationship between the star and viewers. On the other hand, I have to admit despite the short amount of time and all the information which I tried to say, people looked so interested (or they act very well…haha) in the poster and speech. What else? ...I think that’s all! Finally, I hope next group’s members will do also a good labor as star ;-).</span></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt 247.8pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt;">

<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Hi, this is Juan from Broken Dreams and this week I am the star of the group.</span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8WO5WH6w9uE/T0J3xOM4ZmI/AAAAAAAAACk/GYS2mu0cxrw/s1600/Tpack+portada.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="347" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8WO5WH6w9uE/T0J3xOM4ZmI/AAAAAAAAACk/GYS2mu0cxrw/s400/Tpack+portada.jpg" width="400" yda="true" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: "Calibri", "sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">(<i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">This image has been created by Juan Martínez Vivancos, 2012</i>).</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: "Calibri", "sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;"></span><span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"></span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size: 3pt; line-height: 115%; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"></span><span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">I am going to talk about Technological Pedagogical Content and, concretely, about Knowledge. If we think about Technology we have to keep in mind that Technology has changed schedules and customs in human work. In this sense, Technology advance has caused a main problem: how to apply this one to the educational area. In regard to this point, if we look through history we can see how at the beginning pedagogues thought that Teaching Knowledge came from Pedagogy and Content but there was not an association between them, they were two separated spheres. Later, thanks to <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Shulman</i>, in 1986, he would affirm that Knowledge of the Teaching process was a relationship between Content and Pedagogical Knowledge and because of this connection we would obtain the <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Pedagogical Content Knowledge</i> (PCK will be explained later on…). </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Next, the advance of technology would origin a new Knowledge conception. Technology started to play an important role at educational area and in this sense many pedagogues started to think that Technology also contributed to the Teaching Process’s configuration. Nevertheless, Technology appeared in classrooms as a different sphere, that is, Technology was used with certain frequency but teachers did not realise that it was contributing to improve the Knowledge in a direct way. </span></span><br />
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Finally, in 2006, thanks to <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Punya Mishra</i> and <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Matthew J. Koehler</i>, they would indicate that Technology is also a component which produces benefits to Knowledge and educational area. Consequently, the association of Technology would cause the TPCK’s (<i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Technology, Pedagogy and Content Knowledge</i>) creation. Thus, Technology, Pedagogy and Content would be three main spheres which are not separated but they are in cooperation and interdependence. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Due to this association we obtain three main connections as we can see in the second Venn’s Diagram of the poster; </span></span><br />
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">First of these associations we can find <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Pedagogical Content Knowledge</i> which is the relationship between Content and Pedagogy. Content is a transcendental point in the Knowledge of Teaching process but Pedagogy involves all strategies and mechanism which allow us to put into practice all that information which we know. In this sense, I know some music teachers who are virtuoso with the instrument but, however, they have not the necessary pedagogical part in order to transmit Knowledge to their students. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Next connection we find is <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Technological Content Knowledge</i> which is the relationship between Technology and Content. In this point the advance of Technology has caused its implantation in schools and, therefore, contents are not exempt of these new modifications. In reference to this regard, we should know which new changes might produce the use of a specific kind of Technology. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Finally, we find the third association in <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Technological Pedagogical Knowledge</i> which studies the relationship between Technology and Pedagogy. This is an important point since Technology is at all our homes and, indeed, we know how to use it, we know how to turn on lights, TV, computer, we know how to communicate by mobile phones, etc… What is really interesting is how to apply Technology into the educational area and, in this way Pedagogy is the main instrument which provides us the necessary strategies in order to make it possible. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Thus, TPCK will be a sharing among three principal spheres: <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Content, Pedagogical and Technological Knowledge</i> and three main associations:<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Pedagogical Content Knowledge, Technological Content Knowledge and Technological Pedagogical Knowledge</i>. Consequently, we could affirm that TPCK is the nuclear centre of the diagram which coordinates the Knowledge’s configuration. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">To conclude, we should have a look at the application of TPCK to Pedagogy. TPCK’s use into pedagogical area has originated four central features with which we have to take care if we want to extrapolate TPCK to Pedagogical perspective in a suitable way. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">First, we find <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Inappropriate design of software</i>. As the text says the most part of software programs are about business and work. Therefore, in this sense the principal goal of teachers will be trying to generalise these tools to the educational area in order to get better formation in children.</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Next, we find the <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Rapid rate of technology change</i>. This point is quite obvious, we are in 21th Century; technologies grow in a fast way and in twenty years technology will not be the same as it is right now so teachers have to be in touch to new changes in media world so as to implant them continuously into educational area. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Then we find the <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Situated nature of learning</i>. In reference to this applicative feature we should be aware about consequences which may produce the use of a specific kind of technology. In fact, Technology is not equal for all students and situations and because of this difference teachers should study every circumstance in order to get the best result thanks to the application of a precise type of Technology which is convenient in each case. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Finally, there is another important point in TPCK’s application to Pedagogical area which is <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">An emphasis in what, not how</i>. Teachers should focus in what Technology, what Content and what Pedagogy they are going to put into practice, they should pay attention to what objectives and competences they want to develop in children.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Therefore, <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">How</i>, that is, in what manner to transmit and improve Knowledge will be provided by reactions and responses from children once TPCK takes part in classroom’s environment.</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: center;">
<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">(<i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">All the explained information is gathered on the next poster</i>).</span></span></div>
